I have a used starter in the garage that I went through, inspected, and lubricated/painted.
it is part number 003 911 023 A.
I can't find the application in PET, but it kind of looks like it's superceded by 003 911 023 B for early 914s.

Anyone know what this is off of or what it fits? My guess is that it will fit all 914s.

BTW this thing is near new but it is missing the bendix pivot arm. I had it for a spare but never needed it.
if anyone has a bendix pivot arm they don't want or need..........

or if anyone has a use for this starter as is.............
