So, if I read this right, you're sideways in your car, a few minutes later you get pulled over and ticketed for a much lesser infraction, and even given a break on that one.
If that's how it happened, my heart would have been pounding when the gumballs filled the mirrors and I would have been thrilled to not have to deal with an unsafe acceleration ticket.
I don't think I would'a been giving any lip to the cop as he walked off. I wouldn't have said thank you, but I also wouldn't make him regret his decision to cut me a break.
