The first post doesn't make a "hole" lot of sense but the service records for any car will easily fit in the spare tire compartment on top of or behind the tire. They are out of the way and will never bother you again. They should always stay with the car, literally IMO. Not in the house or garage to be lost, in the ****ing car.
Can you tell that I'm a little OCD about records? When someone manages to lose the owners manual of a vehicle, my question is, "what was it doing outside of the car?" It's to be read sitting in the vehicle, as you bond in mind and spirit.
