Hi Dave,
The manifolds have actual the VW raised logo and part number. They are definitely VW...unless someone went to great expense to use the VW logo on a cast part. The carbs are dual throats, like weber 40's. The manifolds are also dual throats. I am going to pick up a digital camera tonight so I will post some pics. I understand that 356 used these carbs too.....
