Before all this, it took 4 hours to figure out what size fuse, package, and availability. It took about another 2 hours of trying to identify, reach and attempt to separate the connectors from the ignition switch without too much force on an old component while lying on my back. I gave up, cut two wires, then soldered and heat shrunk the fuse. If I'd started with that simple approach, it doesn't take too long. Whatever I did looks pretty good and the fuse can easily be replaced.
