Oh no! That won't do!

The RE11 lasted me 16000 miles. Great ride and feel and all the grip I want.

I've never felt the love for the wider wheels on our cars - except for the look. My tires break grip its because I'm turning too fast, not because of the meagre 300hp.

I've driven a few 930 with wide 17" tires and I thought it made the turning too heavy and the ride was sort of plodding and draggy. Too much rubber. Could be the suspension wasn't setup right. Nature of our cars is understeer until oversteer. That is what makes it fun.

I sure hope the re71rs are as good as the re11. I liked the light and very direct steering and that they were predictable in the rain.

Car: tops of wheel well are at 24", polybronze bushings, monoball strut mount, torsion bars are 22/30, sway bars are 22/21. Shocks are bilstein standard in front, sport in the back.
