On one of my older cars (not a Porsche) the parking/drum brake started hanging up on one side. It would turn but wasn’t obviously not spinning the way it should, fortunately was less than a quarter mile from home and was able to drive it.
Took it apart and the pad material was coming apart and pieces were catching and causing it to drag.
