Petersen (LA) has a new exhibit of cars of the 80s and 90s. lfot has his Mustang Enduro on display there.
Sunday the 22nd has Supercar Sunday at Pierce College in Woodland Hills.
Supercar Sunday | World Famous Car Show. It's sponsored by the local Porsche dealer, but there's always good variety there.
Race Service (an automotive culture creative agency and clothing store) over in Culver City has a weekly (Wednesday morning?) cars and coffee called Rise and Shine. I've never been cool enough (or unemployed enough) to attend, but it's LA cool.
Thursday has a Celebration of Life gathering/lunch for Chuck Miller, local longtime Porsche guy, R Gruppe member, and Early S organizer. Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, from 11-2.
If you're the driving type, Friday morning is Good Vibes Breakfast Club in the parking lot of the shuttered Newcomb's Ranch restaurant up Angeles Crest Highway (see La Canada for the start of the drive up Hwy 2). Maybe 50-100 cars. I think what makes this cars and coffee gathering my favorite is the price of admission: the 26 miles up Angeles Crest and the 26 miles back down the mountain.
Friday evening has Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake. Mostly American iron, but there is a guy who shows up in one of his AC Cobras (I think he has 3 of them) seemingly every time.
Saturday the 28th has the monthly
https://www.manhattanbeachcarsandcoffee.com. Then you can go drive over to the nearby downtown/pier area of Manhattan Beach for lunch/brunch, shopping, and people watching.
A couple Saturdays ago, I went to an afternoon/evening event at Good Boy Bob Coffee Roasters in Santa Monica. Maybe 30 or so cars? Don't know if it's every Saturday afternoon, or a monthly thing, as it was my first time there.
Sunday the 29th has the monthly cars and coffee at Griffith Park (parking lot above/behind the carousel) from 7-9. Good variety there, too.
Just about every weekend has beautiful car and beautiful people spectating at Malibu Country Mart. There used to be a huge Sunday morning show where it seemed like the average guy showed up in a late-model Ferrari/McLaren/Lambo/911 hero car, but then they started cracking down on it. Have not been there since the fires in January, but I see on social media that car people still hang out there informally on Sunday mornings.
