Oh, and instead of rolled oats or steel cut oats (I've had and like both), I eat oat bran (also Bob's Red Mill).
To me Oat Bran has more flavor than the other oats. Obviously the texture is very different. To me it's like malt-o-meal or cream of wheat or cream of rice.
I was curious. Looking at the Bob's Red Mill site, the steel cut oats have a little more fiber than oat bran which has more than rolled oats. So that seems like the way to go.
