My 88 930 with 68,000 miles runs well, pulls hard, and burns no oil. I’m curious if my oil pressure readings are ok and how they compare with other similar cars.

When driving at 60mph, with car warmed up, the needle was steady at the 4 mark. After accelerating twice in 2nd gear to 6,000 rpm, the needle was steady at a tick just above the 3 mark at 60mph in 4th gear. So basically the needle reading after the 6,000 rpm accelerations dropped from 4 to 3.

It remained steady at the 3 mark until I parked. At idle the needle dropped to the 2 mark and stayed there for the 2 minutes I let the engine idle to cool down.

Do these reading sound normal?
