I am running 75/90w valvoline right now. I will do as suggested and swtich. I am thinking it is the pinion gear though. It will only do it under very slight loads, if I step on the gas it goes away, if I coast, it goes away. Maybe I am just paranoid. My dad says I just need aftermarket exhaust, and that will fix it. It shifts so great, and is so smooth, I probably won't mess with it until I need to do a motor pull, unless it gets worse. By the way, you mentioned that synthetic oils can cause leaks, I never used to believe that, because it goes against my personal experiences, but I got a book the other day from Chevron. The book said in very clear terms that synthetic oil chemically eats away at RTV sealant, but is harmless to buna, cork, viton, and most other sealants. Very interesting. So, maybe if a tranny was assembled with, say, Anerobic gasket maker from Loctite, that might not be an issue. That's what I used on my engine case, and boy did it work sweet. Welll, thanks for the input guys!!
