....at least you only cross threaded the hole.... If you chase the threads out you may get some particles but they will be so small that they shouldnt cause any havoc with the exhaust turbine...
Just go slow ...1/4 turn forward... back it out.... then feel some resistance .... 1/4 turn forward .... back it out.. etc
