I've not been able to check the sender yet, but.......
looking underneath the car (again!) the sump plate is the wrong way round and according to Wayne's 101 projects book this could mean that the drain plug is under the oil pickup hole. Could this be the cause of the low oil pressure - or am I clutching at straws??
