The spacers work! Grinding is not for the faint of heart though.

I tried several means to get the last lip off of the spacers with no real progress.

Decided to throw a Hail Mary…

Got out the grinder again and carefully ground all the way in till the lip was almost gone.
Filed the lip for the final ½ mm and Voila. They fit. FYI – this equals 2 hours of grinding total! You have to really WANT to do this.

They are a very, very snug fit over the front hub. I am pretty sure that is why hubcentric doesn’t matter on the earlies. The boxter wheel also fits snug over the hub.

Been up to 65 so far with NO VIBRATION, wobble or other undue affects. Everything seems to be great! I will take it up to 80 tonight and see what happens.

So there we have it. Boxter wheels on the early. 2” spacers rear. ¾ stock to front.
