Front brake help
I have an issue with the reinstallation of my front right caliper. When bolting back my newly overhauled caliper, it seems that the inside of the caliper housing is binding on the outer side of the rotor. I have put another caliper onto the car with the same results. Logic would dictate that the caliper attach points on the suspension are bent outward, but I'm not convinced.
Could the rotor not be seated far enough onto the stub axle? It seems that the bottom of the caliper is not binding, just the top. Could the top attach point be bent outward? Can it be rebent? or does it have to be shaved or replaced?
Anybody have experience with this?
