ROW '74 Carrera material

dd,
ROW brochures for 74 came in the standard formats of a larger prestige a4+ size and a smaller two page teaser. The ones I have are 1035.20(large) and the small is not numbered. Both have the same orange 2.7 Carrera German market car on the cover/s and the large brochure I have is a GB issue. Both show the 3 models for that year but I don't know of a separate brochure for the Carrera.
Road tests are hard to come by as the 74/75 production was ruined by the first oil crisis. The only ROW tests I have are in the Brooklands reprint book 911 Carrera 1973-1977.This contains one Australian test in '74 and two 1/2 UK tests in '75.
These two years models were essentially identical except for the rear spoilers,so the data and opinions should be fairly consistant.
The '75 UK Motor figures give a 0-100 mph time of less than 15 seconds. Not too shabby even today!
I have had a '75 Targa version for the last 13 years with the mighty typ 83 motor behind me and it has been a neverending source of driving pleasure. If you can get hold of one to drive or better still, own,do so!!Too bad you Yanks couldn't get this model when new.
I now have my car for sale.RHD anyone?
Dennis.
