If it will help I'll get my '72 up on jackstands tonight and get some pics and as many measurements as possible of the fittings on my tank. I know the tanks are different but I have no idea what the differences are.

'RPMClassic' just listed a few tanks on the for sale section of the site, maybe he has something you can use. Pelican probably has the new fittings as well. I'd call and check with Eugene if I could not find the fitting on the Pelican site. Eugene has helped me with stuff I couldn't find a part number for in the past.
