no need to purchase a new 1.8 t/b.....tons of decent used ones out there....(I've got a few myself if you cannot find one local)
the 2.0 t/b's mount to the plenum with a flat to flat mating
the 1.8's have a rounded fitting on the plenum and a strange rubber gasket. You'd have to machine the inside of the 2.0 t/b to get it to have the proper radius for sealing.
are you sure it's the t/b and not the TPS that is causing the sticking??
