If you're willing and able to switch back to a metric thread (shouldn't be too much of a problem finding an 8mm SS bolt) then Pelican has 8mm by 12 mm wrenching hex flanged self locking nuts that are either a copper alloy or are copper plated (designed to work with exhaust studs). These will be plenty strong for matching to stainless steel bolts and will be corrosion resistant. The Pelican part number is BW-11-62-1-711-954 (it's a BMW part) and last time I checked they were $.53 each. If you search the web you may be able to locate the Si/Br nuts but they likely won't be cheap and you may have to buy a whole box of 100. Jim
