Hanging just the premuffler off of the heat exchangers puts tons of stress on the heat exchangers and will eventually break them. Remember that when the muffler is installed both ends of the cat/premuffler are rigidly supported. With just a cat and extension the car is very, very loud when you are on the gas, but not too bad when you are tooling around. A Premuffler would probably be even louder. It sounds really awesome though. Sounds like an old racecar. If you are going to do that then your extension needs to have something welded on that will somehow bolt to the body or the stock muffler support area. THat's why cars with megaphones use those brackets that run between the 2 megaphones and bolt to the back of the engine. Having to remove and replace a broken exhaust sucks!
