I have to reflect on British cars and how, if you sit in an old one (XK120 for example)and look at the dash, components, etc. and consider how they drove these, howinnaheck did these guys fly airplanes of the same vintage? Can you imagine your MG set up with a pair of 20 or 50 calibers? You have to get it to the location, set up your shot(s), support your compatriots, and get away clean, all without mechanical failure, exacerbated by flak/bullets/cannon expressly designed to cut your plane out from under you.
