I just purchased a Fiberwerks bumper. I likely won't arrive at my door step for a while since it is on backorder but I wanted to see what you all thinnk about this little question. AIR. I want to take advantage of the extra air coming throught to cool of whats under the hood. I picked up some greatair ducts and tubng at a race shop similar to the ducts that come optional on 911's. So my question for you is if you had three ducts to play with where would you send air? I figure since the largest intake is in front of the radiator I'll just leave that alone as its going to do its job. But the other opening I have....Oil colling, up into the engine cavity for extra engine cooling, brake cooling (I donr take it to the track often), and here's something I thought was crazy but heard about...Sending a hose directly to the Air Filter Box via the intake duct sitting by the drivers fender. (Slap a hose on it and tie it down to a duct in the front. The more you go the more it gets. But wont too much air F it up? It can get too much right? I figure the DME might not know how to respond to a forced massive gust coming at it.. The over all idea here simply is that 911's have it, 924's did it, why can we doctor our 944's to have it too? After all have you seen the simple performance boosts on 944's by just driving it without a hood! She runs, and she runs cool. I think she likes it. Thoughts? Oh hey Wilk, took it to my friends shop yesterday (my birthday) for a little emissions test before getting my tags renewed. I left my PowerProm in "on" and yuip she failed emissions, then I set it back to "stock" and she passed with flyionh colors. I keep my engine beautifully maintained and for others reading this out there. FR WILKS PowerProm 2 (as if you have not heard this already from many) KICKS ARS. Great chip, great buy, great "costumer support" for us not as savvy to know how he does it. Thanks again Wilk.
