Ever noticed the different ways people display their "bird"?

I see it like this....

You see the way Island's is? It has all the trimmings. The way his thumb is out and the other fingers are flanking the bird says "Here's what I think and to make sure you really get the point, I brought some reinforcements."

Now John there, his is bare bones. No flair, no extra crap, no misunderstanding. "Here it is and this is what I think."

What do you think? I am off on this or do I have a point.
