Spacers
Hi guys,
I'm looking into getting some spacers for my wheels as the car has an after market widebody that is actually slightly wider than the factory's, (or so I'm told).
What is the optimal fit for wheel/tire to the body? Should the outer-most edge of the tire be flush with the edge of the wheel well? Or is the rim that should be flush? (meaning the wheel would be a bit further out) So far I'm thinking 1.5 inches would move the fuchs' out nicely from their factory positions.
Also, is ebay generally the best price for these things? They seem to be around $230 canadian or $180 US a pair for 1.5 inchers. Kinda steep! Can they be found for less?
Thanks guys,
Nix
