I finally drove 700 miles to Ohio to by a purely unmolested 15,000 mile 87 911. As far as the car go, I would go with the one that has changed the least.

If the radio / speaker were changed, who know if the cut up the wiring harness or door panels. If the ehaust was changed, is the cat still there. Some peoplke change steering wheels, if the original one is not here, it might be very dificualt to find a original if it is of an off color.

Besides if someone is going to mess up your car it might as well be you. Therefore, I say, buy the most original, well maintained, unmiolested car you can find. That way you know what you are getting and as long as you dont screw it up, the resale value will be there.

Just my 2 cents.

Yar, these both appear to be all original and unmolested. Except that one has a dealer installed mobile phone that is of course hopelessly out of date, and tint film on the windows. Not sure how much of a hack job either of those installs were, how much of the car/trim was taken apart in the process, and what problems exist as a result. Oh, and one car is missing it's antenna? Not sure what that's about. Maybe he meant the antenna for the phone? I'm looking into it.
