Really? Wow. I’ve guess been shocked how bad some northern CA paintjobs I’ve seen have looked. Full repaints that were represented to me (when looking for a 911) as $5,000 jobs with overspray, runs, varying thicknesses, front windshield removed but rear window left in place, painted fender beading seals, many paint chips after only a handful of years. I guess I’m pretty skeptical but on the other hand admit that my metallic paint will be extremely difficult to match. Also a little afraid that a full repaint is really going to look like a repaint causing any future buyer to wonder how bad shape the car was in to warrant repainting it.
Does anyone in the Bay Area have experiences with either a full repaint or a partial spray? Any shop recommendations?
