I disassembled and soldered up a large array for fitment in my LW frp tailight housings, alas the 911 OEM lens has large bubble refractors on the inside, subsequently the led array did not diffuse well. Went back to 1157's for comparison, the incandescent work better. the key to led lights is the interior portion of the lens, the led assemblies have a much finer dimpling on the interior lens surface for finer refracting. Untill someone makes a LED specific lens for the 911, leds are not our answer. IMHO ofcourse!
