Wow, what a small world it is! I thought somebody got in my garage and took pictures of my rusted out rear seat and shelf panel in my 71T. I'm cuting the bad out and not even replacing the rear seats. Were going to custom fit a new shelf and slope it down to where it meets the top of the tunnel cover. I'm going to mount my stereo gear on the rear shelf which will sit over the rear floor section where a custom subwoofer enclosure sits. Going to weld in a panel from the bottom over the top of torsion tube. Both of my brother-in-laws are fabricators and one owns a shop so metal is all free (Praise God). I will post pictures as the process takes shape. Considering relocating batteries underneath it all, but front is gonna be so light and the 3.5 N/A engine, I'm afraid of the front end being a little loose with the whole front end fiberglass and only a 12 gallon fuel cell upfront. So........ we shall see.
