I just went from a coupe to a targa and you can definitely feel the targa is less stiff. The foot well took a day to get used to because of the extra reinforcement taking up room. All in all it's no less fun to drive but I can definitely see where a coupe would have some advantages on a track. My targa isnt lowered yet and that will help some with the feel since the coupe was sitting about 2 1/2 inches lower! I've seen at least 2 targas on the board that appear to have been turned into better than average track cars. I ended up with a targa because it reminded me of the first Porsche I was ever in! A few of my friends tried to talk me out of a targa because they thought it looked older because porsche discountinued that targa top style a few years ago and they liked the coupe lines but, hey.. they can buy their own then! I like it!
