And the great thing about it is that the Yankees didn't just tank. They battled hard. The Sox just kept coming - 12 innings, 14 innings both teams battled. In the end, the Sox just had too much heart and at least as much talent and more than enough desire.

Shilling is chowd nation's new governor/senator if he wants it. If you had said that Shilling would get lit up in game one, the Sox would have a 19-8 meltdown in game three and Manny would end up with 0 total rbi's and the Red Sox would still win, I would have said you were crazy.

Now I'm totally conflicted. I want the Astros to advance, but I'm not even sure who I'll be pulling for if they get in!
