Agree with what George said and make sure that anything you want is taken out of the car and shipped separately. The tool kit etc will be stolen as will anything else they want if they can get their hands on it.

Shipping it in a container is safest but more costly and even then its not totally safe. Have seen them dropped but not often. Shipped a mint '57 356 to Germany a few years back and it went smoothly.
