Look at the ends of the "sticker"/ latch sheet metal. You will be able to tell if they have been re-welded to the "drip rails".
Also, look for the same thing on the sheet metal piece running above the rear reflector.
No stickers and new welds may indicate that those panels were replaced from another P-car and the original stickers info would not apply and were removed.
Thus a rear ended situation and a repaint. Not a disaster, but nice to know.
