I will be taking the engine and transmission out of my '78 911SC soon to clean things up a bit (get the sheetmetal powdercoated, etc) and change all the seals, etc.

Any hints or anything in particular to look out for? I have taken the engine/trans out of 914s a few times, which is a pretty basic procedure. The SC seems similar, actually it looks a little easier for various reasons (more room to work, more plug in type connectors, etc.). But, if anyone has done this to an SC and has any helpful tips, they would be appreciated!
