I just started up my '81 911 SC with the heater on and the passenger compartment immediately filled up with thin, really acrid smelling smoke. Smells like I'd been welding! It starts smoking anytime the heater is on and it seems like I'm not getting as much aiflow as I should. Everything else seems OK. Engine isn't running hot and I'm not hearing any strange noises. I'd appreciate any suggestions as to the problem and possible solutions as I'm not yet all that familiar with the ways of the air-cooled engine.
