Rocker Shafts
I pulled my upper vavle covers the other day in order to investigate doing a valve adjustment myself. While looking at the valve train I noticed that 4 of the 6 rocker shafts appear to be backed out of their bores by about 1/8". Is this a common problem?, the engine was rebuilt about a year ago and I am thinking that the rocker shafts were not tourqued correctly. I have not pulled my lower covers yet, I am not hopeful of what I might find. My main concern is getting them back to their correct positions any input would be appreaciated.
