Gimme Shelter would probably head the list for me...followed by Memo From Turner and most of Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed albums...those 2 albums are the pinacle of the RS creative career...
One of the absolute best R&R albums and probably best LIVE album ever is Get Yer YA YA's Out...chronicling the tumlteous 1969 concert tour...cumulating in Alta Mont....After listening to that album you can understand why they were the BEST R&R BAND EVER....You hear Jagger howling, growling and seducing the audience with his come hither voice, while Keith Richards and Mick Taylor play off of each other on the guitar being backed on rythem flawlessly by Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts.... the sound was so tight it was like a machine...
So after listening to YA YA's everything else is SLACKER Music with the exception of Jimi in concert..then you might as well open the top of your head to creat some more room for the music to fill...the other guys who could really stomp on it Live an creat a hit of coke effect to the head was Cream (EC, Ginger B and Jack Bruce)....if they couldn't clean out the cobwebs in your mind nothing could..
