It may be the Cayenne, which is not surprising given the VW partnership on the Cayenne and the similar poor showings by VW and Audi, who have had MAJOR reliability problems of late.

Look at the results for the years immediately prior to the Cayenne and Porsche is near the top in all J.D. Power categories (i.e. both Initial Quality Study - IQS and Vehicle Dependability Study - VDS, the latter of which rates reliability for the first three years compared to 3 months IIRC for the former). If you go to J.D. Power's site you can look up historical results for ALL makes going back at least a few years, IIRC:

VW and Audi: Crappy
Porsche: Right up there with Lexus/Toyota and Honda/Acura until the Cayenne

VW and Audi seem to be crappy reliability when compared against other marques, can't see why the Cayenne would be any different, unfortunately.
