I was thinking about backdating and hotrodding an Euro carrera 3.0 liter but now I'm put off by the inherent weakness of the 2.7 crank, so I'm thinking of buying an SC instead, which still had 70.4mm throw but the webs were thickened plus flywheel were changed from 6 bolt to 9 bolt, and rods were still held by 10mm rodbolts, rather than later 9mm.

I know of a nice SC coupe for sale, low optioned car - no s/r and no a/c, original paint.

If I do the following engine mods:

MFI from a 3.0 RSR
performance mahle p+c from andial
36/36 heads (sodium filled valves) or should it be bigger?
early S cams
SSI's

what power output will it create?
