There are over a dozen Porsche dealers that advertise regularly in Excellence, and do a large-volume phone order parts business ... some have web sites, others don't. I have personally dealt with Vasek Polak, Stoddard, Rusnak, and Don McGill, and can recommend any of them. From your description, the part number in my '72-'73 parts catalogue is part no. 900.169.001.02, and for my car, the same part number is used on both the end of the throttle cable and the lever from the pedal, so if a dealer can verify the part number for your car, you may want to order two or three spares!
