I had 205's on a BBS rim, which replicated the 7 inch Fuch dimension, and I was getting major rubbing on the left lip. Granted my suspension was a bit soft. I plan to lower my car (the 76) more than it already is so I'm likely to kiss the fender.

I had to field roll that side at the track...before that, I test fitted 225's on the same rim onto my car, and the dang tire stuck out almost an inch!
My front end is back dated (ha! and my rear end is forward dated! I don't don't which way I'm headed

), but shoot, I don't think the '71 fenders I have are any narrower than a SC fender, right?
Oh and...I'm trying to buy four wheels (10 inches in rear and 8 inches in front) that match, but the front 8's can only offset by 4.5 inches

That's why I don't want to run 7 inch Fuchs. Want the fronts to match the rears...what do you think my car is? Some Bastard with parts from here and there!
