I don't entirely agree with the statement that the dealers don't have the experienced people. I know at least one dealer (Advatage in Houston on I-10) that has a mechanic whose been there since at least the late 1980's. And he's German too. I don't use the dealer since they are about $25/hour higher than the local shops plus the shop I use will think outside the box when making repairs and not immediatly reach for a Porsche part.
