911 exhaust/rear valence question
Questions from a new member,
The stock muffler on my '74 needs to go for reasons of both sound and some welds cracking on the inlets. I have a banana style dual inlet / dual outlet (long outlets near the center) muffler that came with the car...unknown brand, not polished but appears to be of the same basic configuation as those from Dansk.
I don't like the look of the car without a rear valence - where can I get a "blank" valence that I can then cut and paint to fit the dual outlets properly?
Anyone know if any of these dual outlet mufflers share common dimensions (i.e. outlet-to-outlet, elevation of outlets, etc)?
My back-up is to trash the dual outlet in favor of a new single outlet that fits the stock valence opening correctly.
