New happy beginner !
Greetings from Sweden !
After a year of lurking around this forum I am starting to feel like I know every one of You. This site is by far the best forum around and the ultimate Porsche education center available. If I spend any more time reading threads I will proabably be thrown out in the shed.
Bougt my first p-car last November. Grand Prix White 85 Carrera. The 4th most thrilling day of my life so far. The first tree beeing the birth of my children. Jee, hope the wife canīt read this...
I keep reading members telling us that Porsche were made to be driven with high revs 4-6000/min and neglecting that will lugg the engine and generally be bad for the motor whereas high revs seems to be pure medicin(sorry, I am a pediatrician).
How can that be ? I would agree that porsche engines are designed to endure higher revs than a lot of other cars but they should still suffer more from higher revs than lower. At least in the long run. Right ??
I am asking cause I need a good excuse to drive the crap out of it as often as possible. Feels sooo GOOD !!!
Thanks,
Markus
