I have run with disconnected heat before. I just capped the outlets coming from the engine fan with thick aluminum foil tape and some tiewraps. Basically, that's what you'll have to do. Needless to say, there are more elegant and permanent ways.

Why not buy old metal "outlets" and modify them by cutting them and welding them shut? I am curious to see what others do, that have race engines.
