Thierry,
I disconnected my evap tank too. I removed the hose from the engine crankcase and I put a bypass hose on my air box. I am thinking about installing a K&N crankcase filter in the future directly to my engine. Personally, I would leave the evap tank, charcoal filter, and hoses disconnected. From what I read in my Hayne manual, these items were installed only on porsches destined for North America. That charcoal filter is supposed to be replaced "only in high mileage situations...60000 miles" That seemed funny to me. I have yet to see a company that offers these charcoal filters or the evap tank, but I would hate to see what they would cost you if they did. I need a windshield reservoir, but that little item is over $100.
In conclusion, bypass and remove the whole system and install a K&N...your car will probably thank you. Hope this helps.
Bill
