It never hurts to go with what the car came with from the factory. This is true for the 911 and every other car I every had.

Don't diss platinum for the cars that came with them from the factory. My wife's truck has platinum plugs. They are a 100k mile service item. And they work great. You want them in there that long, because you have to be a proctologist to change them.
