Yes, I decoded the engine serial number, based on the info on page 9 of the spec book, and, yes the 2.4 'TV' engines were for European and the rest of the world markets other than the USA!
One minor detail you might be interested in ... the cooling shrouds are NOT Painted! The resin for making the fiberglass was 'tinted' the appropriate color, so they were ready to use when curing was completed, eliminating the painting step of the manufacturing process, so, if the one in question is painted, it is NOT original!
