Hello,
My 915 transmission's gear pairs have identical 4-digit numbers engraved on them, for example the fixed and idler 3rd gears might each show "4692."

Are these just sequential numbers that are used to identify matching gear pairs, or do they contain more information such as ratios or date of manufacture?
