I guess it's not so bad. Exterior styling hasn't been Porsche's strong suit, really, since 1963, when they last came up with a real departure from the existing models. I'm sure it costs an arm and a leg to gear up for a whole new body design. Although Ferrari makes it look pretty easy, don't they?
Certainly from a numbers point of view, it looks phenomenal. And it's the right direction, at the extreme high end -- this isn't a car for suburban housewives.
