Very aggressive starts in my car produce (what I assume is) a similar clutch-slipping smell. My clutch is less than 3000 miles old. But in my case, I've increased the amount of torque that it is coping with.
Warren, I've always assumed that I'd want to switch to a 'perfomance' clutch the next time around. Would a Sachs kit be the smartest way to go?
